Dr. Amin has dedicated his life to caring for children and has been a practicing pediatrician since 1980. His journey into medicine began at an early age after a serious childhood injury, sparking his passion to become a doctor.
Dr. Amin earned his Bachelor of Science from M.S. University in Baroda, India, and completed his medical education at Baroda Medical College. He furthered his expertise in pediatrics through his residency at the University of Connecticut in Hartford. He is proudly Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. In 1980, Dr. Amin founded Riverwalk Pediatric Clinic with the goal of providing comprehensive pediatric care to children from birth to 21 years of age.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Amin is a devoted to his family who cherishes time with his grandchildren. He also enjoys traveling with his family across the U.S. and India, and finds joy in playing golf and taking walks. An active community member, Dr. Amin believes strongly in giving back and working to improve health care at a local level.
Dr. Amin speaks English fluently and is committed to fostering the health and happiness of his patients, both in and out of the office.
Dr. Rueras completed her undergraduate education with a Bachelor of Science at Far Eastern University in Quezon City, Philippines, where she also earned her Doctor of Medicine degree. After medical school, Dr. Rueras completed a residency in Pediatrics at King-Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Rueras has been providing expert pediatric care since 1998. Dr. Rueras is fluent in both English and Tagalog, ensuring comprehensive care for a diverse patient population.
Dr. Veloso earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine degrees from Far Eastern University in Quezon City, Philippines. She completed her pediatric residency training at the University of the Philippines Philippine General Hospital and later at King-Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. With a diverse background and extensive experience, Dr. Veloso has been practicing since 2004. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Tagalog, allowing her to effectively communicate and care for a wide range of patients.
Dr. Nguyen earned both his Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine Degree at St. George’s University, completing his pediatric residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Elmhurst in Queens, NY. His training was during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, which combined with working at the largest pediatric specialty hospital in New York City allowed care for a diverse and unique pediatric population. Board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Nguyen seeks to provide excellent care to both his patient and their families and to create a positive medical home base. Dr. Nguyen is fluent in English and Vietnamese, using this to communicate evidence-based medicine to ensure his patient receive the most up to date care.
In his spare time, Dr. Nguyen loves to travel the world, cooking for his wife, and playing as much volleyball as possible.
Sarah obtained her master's in physician assistant studies at George Fox University in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. After graduation, she returned to California and completed her post-graduate pediatric training/fellowship here at Riverwalk Pediatrics.
Sarah enjoys working with kids of all ages and holds special interests in preventative medicine, developmental pediatrics, and adolescent medicine. She utilizes evidence-based medicine and makes sure she stays up to date on the most recent clinical studies and research.
In her spare time, she can be found wandering the aisles of Trader Joe’s, cooking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her 3 cats.
